AP SI (Sub Inspector) Exam Pattern:
AP (Andra Pradesh) SI (Sub Inspector) selection process is under 4 stages. 1. Preliminary Examination 2. Physical Measurement Test 3. Physical efficiency test 4. Main Examination. After complete these above stages will be select for the AP SI Job. Candidate must qualify in the Preliminary Examination then the candidate will get intimation latter for the Physical measurement test. Once candidate qualify in Physical measurement test will call for next stage is Physical Efficiency Test. After qualify in the 3rd stage will call for final stage of selection that is Main Examination.
AP SI Selection Process and Exam Pattern :
AP SI Selection Process is having 4 stages.

1.Preliminary Examination :
AP SI (Sub Inspector) Preliminary examination has two papers. Each paper has 100 questions total marks for the preliminary examination has 200 marks paper. Candidate must have to qualify in the Preliminary examination for eligible for next stage of selection process.

Qualify For Preliminary examination:
- The minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify
in the Preliminary Written Test in both the papers is 40% for OCs; 35% for BCs; and 30% tor SCs/STs/Ex-servicemen. - If a candidate fails to secure qualifying marks even in one paper, he will be disqualified.
Intimation Letter: The candidate who qualifies in the Preliminary Written Test will be informed the dates for downloading the Intimation letter through the website www.slprb.ap.gov.in for appearing in the Physical Measurements Test (PMT)/ Physical Efficienry Test (PET) with details of Venue, Date and Time. Candidates
should bring the Intimation Letter when they come to attend the PMT/PET.
Physical Measurements Test (PMT:
Candidate who qualifies in the Preliminary Written Test has to undergo Physical Measurements Test and should meet the following requirements.
1.For SI (Civil,AR,APSP, Station Fire officers ):
For Men Require Measurements:
- Height: Must not be less than 167.6 centimeters..
- Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 centimetres round the chest
on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 centimetres
For Womens Require Measurements:
- Height: Must not be less than 152.5 centimeters..
- Weight: Must not be less than 40 Kgs.
NOTE : Provided that the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Aboriginal Tribes in the Agency areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari districts should meet the following requirements:
(Men):
- Height: Must not be less than 160 centimeters..
- Chest: Must not be less than 80 centimetres round the chest on
full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 3 centimetres.
(Women)
- Height:Must not be less than 150 centimeters..
- Weight:Must not be less than 38 Kgs.
For the Post Deputy Jailor (Men) :
- Height: Must not be less than 168 centimeters..
- Chest: Must not be less than 87 centimetres round the chest on
full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 centimetres.
NOTE : Provided that the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Aboriginal Tribes in the Agency areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari districts should meet the
following requirements
- Height: Must not be less than 164 centimeters’.
- Chest: Must not be less than 83 centimeters round the chest on
full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5
centimeters.
For the Post Deputy Jailor (Women) :
- Height: Must not be less than 153 centimeters.
- Weight: Must not be less than 45.5 kgs
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Candidate who qualifies in the above Physical Measurement Tests will be required to undergo the following tests and be qualified as specified below.
For the Posts SI (Civil), Dy,Jailor (Men &Women),Station Fire Officer:
Men & Women Candidates must qualify in 1600 Meters run (L Mile Run) and one out of remaining two
events as detailed below.
